I have been listening to a lot of Evanescence while working on this scene, because it brings me back to 2004 when I would get sooooo angsty coming up with stuff about these two. it really does do the trick

God poor Poe, poor Abner! Two poor souls who never knew they were doomed to experience trauma thanks to Evanescence inspiring young people everywhere to put their OCs through a meat grinder. A fantastic but bleak few pages.
